About The Course:
All are welcome! The course is suitable for absolute beginners and everyone who has practiced yoga before but would like to expand their foundation and learn about the philosophy behind yoga.
At the end of the course you will have an understanding of the yogic system and its benefits when applied to your daily life.
You will learn the complete basic set of 12 yoga postures (asanas) and how to practice them at home by yourself.
You will experience different meditation techniques that are very beneficial to calm and balance your mind.
Sarah Swaney - Procurement Manager, age 29
"An absolute gem of a yoga course – small class numbers, unique and perfectly suited venue (not a sweaty gym), varied, structured classes covering all different elements that feed into the philosophy of yoga. Teaching was very well thought through, with clear and relaxed delivery. Opens up the unknown and builds a wide, solid foundation to be able to understand how yoga could be adapted and applied to anyone’s lifestyle.
Some of the outcomes I got:
- Understanding of the context of yoga and the other aspects that can be beneficial in one’s life aside form the physical practice.
- Experience of meditation and its benefits in calming and clearing the mind
- Building up an understanding of learning to listen to how the body is feeling as opposed to following what the head decides to tell the body what to do!"
Sean Coppinger - Consultant, age 32:
"Although I didn’t know much about yoga, I was aware that it was composed of Meditation, Philosophy, and Asanas. Although there are many yoga courses out there, few seem to cover each of the areas. In contrast, the class by Marion covered each of the topics, while also providing an intimate setting in which it was easy to discuss the range of teachings. I would recommend the class to anyone who was searching for an introductory course."
